Putnam UMass Scholars Program

Provides scholarship opportunities for students at sophomore, junior or senior level of their degree program. Recipients must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

  1. Disclaimer: Do you give your permission to have the completed scholarship application information, personal statement, transcript, as well as your UMass application and financial aid award information (if applicable), reviewed by the University of Massachusetts Foundation Scholarship Committee. You also give permission to release such information to the donors, should you be selected as a recipient.
  2. Attach a recent resume if not already submitted in General Application.
  3. Personal Statement: Statement: The statement is your opportunity to introduce yourself to the scholarship committee and should include (1) what you think have been your significant personal experiences beyond what may be reflected in your academic transcripts (i.e.,personal characteristics, leadership experience you have had in any area of your life: school, work, athletics, family,volunteering, community, obstacles you have overcome, or other relevant information), and (2) your personal and career ambitions/goals. The statement should be maximum 500 words.
  4. Upload a letter of recommendation supporting your application for this scholarship. (Optional)
